Todays work was focused around elements of advanced composition in a scene, we covered the rule of thirds and depth creation techniques. The above picture is one of the few successful photo's from the task. The more advanced the techniques we're being expected to cover the harder it is to just go out and create examples of work that demonstrate them which just shows how important planning actually is when deciding what to film, where to film it and how.
None the less, the above picture demonstrates several different features that create depth. The desk behind the subject curves away from her completely altering the line. The tile lines on the floor also add depth by creating a line that draws our eye into the distance.
