So I completed my first assignment a few weeks ago. Very proud of it, we were tasked with creating a short video with around 6-12 shots using several different kinds of edit to show our understanding of editing grammar.
The assignment called for us to video a short daily task, in my case, rolling a cigarette.
There are a few small flaws to note, there is an object continuity error in regards to the positioning of papers and tobacco etc in one edit. See if you can spot it.
And several shots are out of focus, largely as a result of the challenges of filming this entirely alone.
Other than these issues however I am very proud of this, it's the first video I've ever actually filmed, haven't even taken a 6 second video on my mobile of someone falling over before if you can believe it.
